represents one of the most expressive and accomplished voices in Scandinavian jazz today. Led by Swedish saxophonist and composer Håkan Broström,the group combines lyrical storytelling, rhythmic vitality, and a distinctly Nordic atmosphere that has become the hallmark of Broström’s sound.
Formed around a shared dedication to interplay and melodic exploration, the quartet features Britta Virves (piano),
Jon Henriksson (bass), and Jonas Bäckman (drums).
Together they create music that balances form and freedom – at once intimate and dynamic.
